I was wondering if anyone had any tips incorporating daily habits & routines into Nirvanahq. The reoccurring feature is really inconvenient for me because it makes duplicates of your task even if you haven't completed it. Sometimes I fall off my productivity & the last thing I want to do is come back to my Next list and see "go to the gym" listed 5 different times.
I want to add all of my taks to Nirvana, even my daily goals & habits. For example: Go to the gym every other day. Read the news every day. Read a book before bed. Take my vitamins & drink 8 glasses of water a day.
However a lot of these are just goals for the day. Realistically I don't have time to do them all but I'd still like to keep them on my Next lists so I think about them when Im planning what to do next

Hi Rebecca, I'm just getting into Nirvana for GTD so please correct me if I've misunderstood! Instead of multiple recurring daily tasks, could you set up one recurring task with all of the subtasks as a notes checklist? Then you could review and reset every night - NGTD might even reset for you each day?
Appreciate it's harder to cover the every other day this way but maybe there are less of those and could have one each?

Just had Rebecca's same issue. JP your idea was perfect. I'm now in process of changing all my daily tasks (some that were duplicating) to a notes checklist right now. Just wanted to say thanks both Rebecca for asking and JP for answering. I like how each daily task becomes a checkbox. Thanks.
